What is my time commitment?
The program runs for six months, during which it requires 5 hours weekly spread over three weekdays plus 4.5 hours on 15 select weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday)
What if I miss a class or miss a module?
You have access to recordings to go back and catch up on any missed classes. If you miss an entire module, you can take it the next time it is offered – the same year or the next depending on the schedule
What is the difference between Consolidated and Modular?
There is no difference in the content of the program between the two formats. Modular option is best if you wish to focus on selective parts of the program, for example only Asana practice or only Yoga Philosophy etc. If the intention is to complete the entire program even if it is spread out, the Consolidated option is best.
You can sign up for the Consolidated program and let us know the modules/dates you will be missing. Your place will be automatically reserved for that module the next time it is offered. You do not have to pay extra/again. And you get the better pricing of the Consolidated vs the Modular option.
Call us – we can help you select the format suitabe for your needs.
Do I have to be able to do all the poses?
No, you do not. The program teaches the anatomy of, intention around, access to, and method of a pose. A yogi gains access to and comfort in a pose with practice and lifelong learning

Hear from our almuni!
Attending YASP gave me several benefits…First off, it helped me adjust my focus from “can’t” to“can”. It increased my body awareness enough that I felt comfortable trying poses that I previously would have worried about- either aggravating an injury, creating a new one, or just simply not being “fit “ enough. Secondly, it deepened my practice from both a skill perspective and holistic understanding. Lastly it created a community that has meaning to me. I highly recommend this program!
I decided to do the YASP program in order to get my mother moving again but what I got out of it was much more. I found a much deeper connection in my body and breath. I found that with precision in the poses it opened doors to muscles I didn’t know I had. We learned about the 8 limbs of yoga which solidified the thoughts and actions I’ve already practiced with Yamas and Niyamas as a design for living. Overall, the experience was life changing. I’d recommend it to everyone who want to live a fuller enriched life and experience with their own practice. The benefit is that you can now share it with others.
I attended the YASP program because I wanted to deepen my knowledge of the yoga poses, how they are done and how they affect the body. In addition, I wanted to learn more about the yoga philosophy.
I got all this and much more. I highly recommend this program!
YASP was a very well-rounded Program. It covered Anatomy lectures (super useful given my engineering background!), 12 modules, intensives and Yoga Philosophy. Faculty who taught the program made the information very easy to grasp and created numerous light-bulb moments when it all came together! After this program I emerged as a different person and my new journey has started. I am now aware of my responsibility to spread the knowledge of yoga responsibly.
